To Regina,

Sorry if I and other seem rude, but, alot of the simple things in the game that have been wrong for a long time, being fixed would make us happy. As far as a ton of new content, maybe not but throw us a bone at least. You say there are the weekend events. Most of the people I know dont even participate in them. My guild doesnt pvp so those weekends are bust and the latest pve ones are just grind based.

And I do like the fact you pay enough attention to visit us here and reply to our post even if we are rude. That means a lot to me.

We have been told that we wont get 7 heros. thats fine then fix the 3 we can carry so they use skills properly. This is not new material its correcting old. Assassins and other melee heros are worse than henches at times due the the lack of ability to use skills.

armor clips, this is another very old complaint (see also proph)

and this is one of my favorites, this is the central transfer chamber. where are the henches? This only occurs in the Int dis.

see its alot of little things that make us mad. then when a "big idea" pops up that several of us like, and we know will never happen we get rude and stupid over it. Thank you for your time.

It's unfortunate that you feel that GW1 has been "abandoned", but it's not the case. As I outlined above, there is a team that only works on GW1 QA issues.
QF the meat and taters of it.

Thx for the reply I did not expect 1. It is good to know that there IS fixes coming. That makes me (and others too) feel better. A little bit of communication on this would probably help the community at large in ways you can not imagine. But actually making the fixes will seal the deal, so to speak. I look forward to having a "completed and near bug free game" to enjoy.

When there are thousands of bugs, big and small, in the game, QA must prioritize. Some issues that are not as easily seen by players may have higher priority than cosmetic issues that don't necessarily break the game, but just annoy people on a superficial level.

Regarding the weekend events. Just because you and your friends do not participate in the weekend events, doesn't mean that there aren't a bunch of other players who don't enjoy them as well. At the end of the day, the developers are creating things that they hope can appeal to a lot of people and a lot of playstyles, not only you and your specfic group of friends.

It's ok though, if only for entertainment value.

It would be nice and hopefuly Anet miight one day consider.
I really love the Asian theme of Factions but once you get off Shing Jea, it all goes bye bye and instead you get tacky pieces of wood, cloth, and walls looking as if they're rotting.
And for something "Imperial" it really looks dirty.
The only time you see the return of what looks like Feudal Japan is the final mission.
Hopefully an expansion would give them a chance to build off of the Asian concept.

A little off topic, but they really should give Kaineng Center a texture update.

Ok if you also noticed I mentioned I didnt like the grind based activies. Like double points for norn.dwarf or what ever regions. the cool holiday random drop stuff is fun. the games like rollerbeetle, dragon arena are fun. The april fools stuff is ok but at least its new. I was not trying to insult you for the pvp events just mentioning that we (I assume the others) would like more variety. You seem to be taking my comments as insults and I have yet to attack you personally.

Also I understand that there are many many bugs to any game. I have played for awhile. And again we thank you for fixing the ones we dont see. BUT its the ones we post here, or grip about over and over, that we keep fresh in out minds. Its a simple thing, we bitch about what we see, not what we dont. If you dont bitch what you see we feel you are ignoring us.

This 'city boy' is driving through the country, its pouring down rain and he sees the old man sitting on his porch. Water is just pouring through the old cabin into various buckets and pails.

"Hey you old coot why dont you fix your roof?" the city boy calls out.

"Cause its raining." the coot replies.

"Why dont you fix it when its not raining?" City boy asks.

"Cause then it doesnt leak."

thank you and have a wonderful day.

I do understand that you and others may not like the "grind based activities." Your feedback regarding mini-game activities is noted.

Speaking personally, as a player, I don't tend to participate in bonus point weekends, like the ones you mentioned. So I do agree that not all content appeals to everyone.

Your perception is incorrect. I was not insulted at all. I was merely responding to your feedback regarding what you and your personal friends group were dissatisfied about in the game. I was taking your feedback seriously, because it seemed important enough to you that you wanted a response from me.

Duly noted. Part of what we are dealing with here is the fact that you as players do not have access to the information we have here. So your view of the game is unfortunately limited, and we too are limited in how much information we're permitted to share. And of course there is balancing the bugs of importance to you all as players, with fixing the bugs that may be less visible, but still important to the game.

An area, which got until today way too less recognition of anet's assitants.

I'd like it, if more often would look someone of Anet, or you to name a person ^^ would look into the serious Concept Classes and would post there soemthign about them, like posting somethign maybe about the possible chance to see something similar liek the CC maybe in GW2.

Alone to see, that you would post something in a CC thread, would ensure their creators, that someone of Anet has SEEN the concept.
Also alone to hear, what you personally think about our CC's would be nice to know, maybe we got soem ideas for a profession you would also very like to play later in GW2.

The Concept Class Area screams for Feedback from any Anet Assistants or especially YOU !!

my 2 cents
It sounds like they already have an idea of what they want in GW2. I'd rather the people working on GW2 get their own stuff right than to look at the lolorious stuff in the CC section.

Instruct someone to look at a fansite and concept content for a new game? Get real. If they wanted input on new classes of GW2, they'd hire the individual whose input they wanted.

wow reading some of the earlier posts is hilarious
people complaining about paying $200 for everything in gw
just be happy you arent payin monthly fees
lets c
3 years X $15 a month= $540 +$50 for the actual game = $590
so u saved about $390 by playing gw
y would u complain about that
im annoyed about some of the things in gw as well
but as long as they finish gw2 up to the standards we expect
then idc

I personally am still undecided about buying GW2. I couldnt care less if I can jump or swim...big woopie! the main thing that I have read about GW2 that I dont like is the actual playing field. I DO NOT want to have to play in an area with 100s of others. I like my own little world that GW1 gives me. It was 1 of the 2 selling points for me. the other being (of course) no monthly fee.(I can not thank you all at A-Net enough for that). But GW2 is still a ways off...so who knows what will happen between now and then.
Now as for new contect for factions and NF...would be nice, but not nessisary.
As for the weekend events....I love the holiday things...April fools was the best...I want stick figure armor so bad I can taste it. lol
but the constant bonuses for PvP are getting old. There are some of us out there that still only play PvE. Even for faction points. Give the little guys a bone every once in a while please other then just at a holiday.

You absolutely don't got the clue about, for what this section exists anyhow
Do you really believe, it only exists, because we have all nothing better to do and are all bored to death ? Sure not.

You don't have to tell me (nor any other one, who writes a CC there), that Anet has surely a kind of Vision, what professions will be in GW2, that one do we have ALL, anyone who played GW, can say what classes GW2 will have.
The point goes only around new professions or ways how to improve the old ones.
If it would sound anywhere really yet, as if they know at 100%, what they will give us, they would finally give us more information about GW2, they would tell us, which professions would be the Core in GW2 and what me might seen in soon future maybe also as additional jobs for the first Add On or so.

The whole point of the CC section is "Hope", the hope you have, when oyu write the thread, that your idea might eventually get seen by anet, and somethign of it maybe will get used, beign either 1:1 or in any similar way.
The CC's we make also show Anet, what kind of Professions the Community would love to see in GW2, because they can see, how often a certain profession gets wished in the forums.

Do you have a clue, how we got on the Dervish and the Paragon ? It seems not so, those 2 professions are the result of our CC's and suggested ideas in forums, because so many people cryed for shapeshifters and a class, that uses a kind of spear or lance weapon...

This won't happen. All of the game developers are studying WOW so they can steal their ideas.
